She was predeceased by: her parents, William Houston and Margaret Strickland; and her siblings, John C., Joseph, Lela and Lulu.
She is survived by: her husband John Mooney of Owensville; her sons, Michael Mooney of Ellsberry and Tony Mooney of Troy; and her grandchildren, Kristen Burwell, Jonathan Mooney, Ryan Mooney, Eric Mooney, Brett Mooney and Sean Mooney. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
A burial was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery (2900 Sheridan Rd, St. Louis, MO 63125). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
