We are sad to announce that on June 17, 2021, at the age of 85, Helen Mae Shanks of Owensville, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Everett McKinney and Susie McKinney (Cox); her former life partner Mark Shanks; and her siblings, Carl, Paul, Bernie, John, Gene McKinney, Thelma McKinney and Viola Fredendall.

She is survived by : her children, Sherry Ellis (Steve) of Owensville, Cynthia Blankenship, Kelly Frizzell of Salem, Timothy Shanks (Karen) of Owensville, Anthony Shanks, Shawn Schlottach of Owensville and Lisa Bailey (Roger) of Owensville; her brother Floyd McKinney (Ruth) of Belle; and her sister-in-law Audry McKinney of Owensville. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
