He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Adkison and Betty Jo Adkison (Gossett); his brother Bob Adkison; and his brother-in-law Don Doell. He is survived by: his children, Jerry Adkison Jr. of Owensville, Nicholas Stotler of Lake City, Nathaniell Adkison (Hannah) of Owensville, Tabitha Hurst (Trevor) of Owensville, Marsha Layton (Ryan) of Montgomery City and Megan Clayton (Cody) of Lake City, Ark.; his sister Pamela Doell of O'Fallon; his grandchildren, Kaylei, Cody, Elli, Chesten, Bella, Madison, Carson, Stahr, Paizli and Nash; and his great grandchild Brantley.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Harvey's Chapel United Methodist Cemetery.
