He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Leslie Dale and Rosie Loretta Ellis (Miller); his wife Carolyn; his brothers, David, Keith and Donald; and his son-in-law Jackson Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Teresa Smith of Linn and Arlan Ellis (Deena) of Belle; his grandchildren, Anthony Smith (Katie) of Longmont, Donavin Smith (Chelsea) of Linn, Spencer Ellis of Belle, Mariah Smith of Florissant, Callie Ellis of Christiansburg, Virg and Nathan Crews of St. Charles; and his great grandchildren, Jackson, Evony, Victoria, Emma Lynn and Harper.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Gottenstroeter Funeral Home - Owensville Date (108 S 2nd St, Owensville, MO 65066). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
