With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard Leon Duncan of Owensville, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 29, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Richard shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Richard farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John LaVerne and Thelma Mabel Duncan (Jett); his wife Joyce; his sisters, Delores Seba, Carol Fischer and Mary Jane Durbin; and his granddaughter Cynthia Duncan.
He is survived by: his children, Curtis Duncan of Gasconade, Vickie Schoening of Owensville and Steve Duncan of Owensville; and his siblings, Glen Duncan (Joyce) of Owensville, Larry Duncan (Margaret) of Owensville and Donna Jones (Craig) of Owensville. He is also survived by three grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and three great, great-grandchildren.
