He was predeceased by : his parents, John Jenkins and Grace Jenkins (Miller); his wife Janafay; his siblings, Earl, Pete, Charles, Woodrow, May Smith, Edna Kelly and Dorothy John; his son Dwight Buehrlen; and his grandchildren, Michael Talbert and Michelle Butler.

He is survived by : his great grandchild Shane Fizer; and his children, Priscilla DeGuire of St. Louis, Bill Buehrlen of Hillsboro, Kathy Mealy (Rick) of Holts Summit, Rose Marie Sohm (Eric) of Belle, Darryl Jenkins of Belle and Timothy Jenkins of New Bloomfield. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great, great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gottenstroeter Funeral Home - Owensville Date (108 S 2nd St, Owensville, MO 65066). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
