He was predeceased by : his parents, George Tayloe and Florence Tayloe (Graves); his wife Gloria Jean Hagerty; his sons, William Tayloe, Jr. and Michael Tayloe; and his siblings, Edward, Robert, Roger Tayloe and Rosalie Ragland.

He is survived by : his daughters, Nancy Poole (Allan) of St. Louis, Barb Roemerman (Mark) of Shrewsbury and Katie Loida (Kevin) of Webster Groves; his daughter-in-law Sharon Tayloe of St. Louis; his brother George Tayloe (Beverly) of Chesterfield; and his grandchildren, Nicole Hunter (Tim), Michelle Thrower, Andy Warren, Stephanie Tayloe, Larry Hall, Kelly Williams (Greg), Grace Roemerman, Joe Decker, Ryan Roemerman, Luke Roemerman, Haley Simon (Nick), Jack Loida and Natalie Jane Loida. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
