As Deirdre departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Deirdre may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Deirdre leaves behind.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Wilma Mabel and Charles Edwin Pilgrim.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home (1947 E Seminole St, Springfield, MO 65804). A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery (5201 S Southwood Rd, Springfield, MO 65807).
