As Deirdre departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Deirdre may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Deirdre leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilma "Pat" Pilgrim and Charles "Slim" Pilgrim; her former husbands, Johnny Leonard DeStefano and Joseph David Bell; and her brother Danny Edwin Pilgrim.
She is survived by: her children, Susan M. Pennell and Michael J. DeStefano (Marla); her stepdaughters, Pamela Kooser (Dick), Sherry Hernandez (Andrew) and Joetta Engel (Fred); and her husband Joe.
