She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Mary Ella Steadman Hood; her son Evan Michael DeShong; her daughter-in-law Angela DeShong of Rogersville, Missouri; her grandchildren, Ashley Farage and Dillon DeShong; her grandchildren-in-law, Danny Farage and Rosie DeShong; and her great grandchildren, Landen McIntosh, Elijah Higgins, Camden DeShong and Oliver Higgins.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the James River Church (6100 N 19th St, Ozark, MO 65721).
