He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy Jo Kessinger Kissee; his son Keith Kissee; his siblings, Marilyn Ruth and Tom Kissee; and his son-in-law Terry Sullivan.
He is survived by: his daughter Karol Sullivan; and his grandchildren, Andrew Sullivan (Emily) and Elizabeth Sullivan.
