He was predeceased by : his parents, Kenneth Edward and Anna Alice Elwood (Smith); his wife Betty Jean Rethamel; and his brothers, Edgar, Bob and Dwight.
He is survived by : his children, Ann Custer of Ozark and Kevin Elwood (Kimm Kennon) of Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Stephanie Garcia (Michael) of Texas and Josiah Custer (Erika Bradley) of Ozark; and his siblings, Charles, Frankie Elwood of Cabool and Susan Jarrett of Cabool.
