He was predeceased by: his parents, Bob Higgins and Lavonda Higgins; his son Aaron Golden; his uncles, Ray Higgins of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Dennis Smith of Jonesboro, Arkansas and Kevin Smith of Jonesboro, Arkansas; and his father-in-law Carl Eastep.
He is survived by: his wife Melissa Higgins; his sons, Ridge Clint Higgins of Ohio, Shawn Golden of Harrison, Arkansas and Austin Baker of Springfield, Missouri; his brothers, Erich Higgins of Jonesboro, Arkansas and Bryan Higgins of Jonesboro, Arkansas; and his aunt Donna Reeves of Harrisburg, Arkansas.. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Southside Church of Christ (801 W South St, Ozark, MO 65721).
