Pamala Pickrell wrote a sympathy message

“We met Jerry in Irtan in 1974. Jim Bob was born 15 days after Jerry so we celebrated together when we could. Jerry and Jim Bob flew together in three companies, three countries, and two states. We were blessed to have him in our lives. He shared his beautiful family with us, He was such a good man. We know he's in a better place, out of pain, and we WILL see him again. May God give strength to Donna and the family to help them get through this sorrow. Out love, Pam and Jim Bob Pickrell”
