He is survived by: his children, Joseph Griner, Stewart Griner, Christiana Peterson (Nicholas) and James Edmiston (Elaine); his siblings, James Pope Edmiston and Victoria Flanigan; his grandchildren, Carolyn Downey (Annelise), Daniel Stewart Griner, Kristen Edmiston and Christopher James Edmiston; and his siblings' children, Peggy Edmiston and Dennis Flanigan.
