We announce the death of Lionel Daugherty of Ozark, Missouri, who passed away on June 3, 2026, at the age of 79. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earlin Daugherty and Geraldine Applegate Holt; his daughters, Caron Linelle (Kory Mitchell) of Emporia, KS and Casey Lee of Ava, MO; his wife Carolyn Sue Johns; his stepfather Gene Holt; his brother Jerry Daugherty; his parents-in-law, IJ and Susie Johns; his nephews, Matthew Bumgarner and Dennis Daugherty; his niece Rachel Morrison; and his great-nephew Hunter Daugherty.

He is survived by: his sister Della Lavonne Isaacs (Tony); and his siblings-in-law, Viola Daugherty (Chadwick), Danny Johns, Cathryn Bumgarner (Terry), Cindy Adamson (Faron) and Rick Johns (Jinhua). He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and many, many great friends.
