We announce the death of Mary Ellen Fulton of Ozark, Missouri, who passed away on August 11, 2026, at the age of 91. Mary Ellen will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parent Meda Smith; her siblings, Harold Smith and Nona Mae Smith; and her grandson Lance Porterfield. She is survived by: her husband Ronald Fulton; her children, Roger Fulton and Phyllis Porterfield; her granddaughter LaRae Smith (Thomas Smith); her great grandchildren, Payden and Cashen Smith; and her sister Norma Redfearn. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Lance Porterfield Memorial Scholarship through the Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College Foundation.
