She was predeceased by: her husband Don; her parents, Oscar Gerhart and Almyra Gerhart (Sanders); her children, Beverly Bowden, Darlene Braden and Nelson Eighmy; her granddaughter Tosha Smith; her great grandchildren, Cory Eighmy and Austin Smith; and her siblings, Nelson Gerhart, Lillie Gearens and Ruby Johnson Gregg.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Welpman (Randy), Pamela Lester (Mike) and Andrew Laas (Michelle); her daughter-in-law Connie Eighmy; and her stepchildren, Angie Pietz (Allan), Gayle Bowline and Troy Bowline (Jana).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Greenlawn Funeral Home and Life Tribute Center - Ozark (1700 S 15th Ave, Ozark, MO 65721). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery (5201 S Southwood Rd, Springfield, MO 65804).
