He was predeceased by : his parents, Paul Schelling and Laura Schelling (Laforce); and his siblings, Duane Schelling, Clarence Schelling and Isabelle.

He is survived by : his sister Audrey Letts (Gerald) of Ozark; his niece Cheryl Stanley of Nixa; and his nephews, Steven Letts and Michael Letts (Cindy) of Ozark.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be sent to the Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
