We announce the death of Willis Kadden Applegate of Ozark, Missouri, who passed away on June 14, 2026, at the age of 78. Willis will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Melvis Applegate and Bertha Applegate (Willis); his wife Jonneen Applegate; his siblings, Dee Applegate, Frances Carroll (Sally) and Dewey Applegate; and his grandsons, Nicholas Hoffman and Chance Madle.
He is survived by: his children, Vickie Hoffman-Egly (Karl), Matthew Applegate (Julie), Vonnee Applegate, Michelle Harden, Justin Moore (Lori) and Dorthey Sawyers (Thomas); and his brother Bill Applegate (Shirley). He is also survived by his 18 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and a host of great friends.
