He was predeceased by : his parents, Rena Morel and Raoul Morel; his wife Barbara Morel; his son David Morel; and his brother Ralph Morel.

He is survived by : his children, Melanie Schuster (Chris) of Pacific, Renee White (Tim) of Pacific, Matt Morel and Cate Freeman of Pacific; his sister Catherine Hogg of Convent, LA; his grandchildren, Brittany Ramsey (Rob Brake), Tara Cowsert (Randy), Cody Schuster (Elyse), Mallory Reidt (Andrew), Emily Gullet (Jesse), Sydney Moore, Timothy White, Ryan Hardt (Megan Caress) and Jodie Morel (Bryan Reid); and his great grandchildren, Lennon Hardt, Carson Payne, Cayden Payne, Elaina Gullet, Leah Gullet, Levi Gullet, Mason Knott, Callie Thornton, Cadence Ramsey, Jackson Brake, Kinsley Cowsert, Kennedy Schuster, Remington Cowsert and Laney Schuster. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
