He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert E. Sapp and Wanda Sapp (Horton); his brother-in-law Dave Hedrick; and his father-in-law Paul Drebenstedt. He is survived by: his wife Julia of Palmyra; his children, Regina Sapp (Mike Hamilton) of Keokuk and Scott Sapp of Smithville, MO; his stepchildren, Joseph Sodari (Joy) of Palmyra and Jenette Graf (Scott) of St. Louis; his grandchildren, Isabel Sapp, William Sapp, Elizabeth Stambaugh and Henry Stambaugh; his stepgrandchildren, Alexandria White (Josh), Skyler Young, Angelina, Annabella, Adalayna Sodari, Jayden Skirvin (Sean), Owen Williams, Reinita Lee, Brelynn Graf and Sylvia Rainbolt; his sister Barbara Hedrick; and his mother-in-law Florence Drebenstedt. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
