He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Fessenden and Lola Fessenden; his siblings, Forrest Fessenden (Opal), Earl James "Buck" Fessenden (Claudell), Lee Fessenden (Lavada), Maxine "Sis" Dickerson (Ed), Helen Kroeger (Ralph), Bonnie Fessenden, Mary Jarman (Ray) and Nedia Goodwin (Billy); his in-laws, Harold and Sue Silver; his brothers-in-law, Kerry Bill Hevel, Jerry Brueggeman and Steve Clayton; and his nieces and nephews, Gene Fessenden, Danny Fessenden, Dennis Jarman, Diana Sorenson and Sheridan Davis (Shawn).
He is survived by: his wife Judy Silver; his brother Howard "Ray" Fessenden (Corinne); his daughters, Jody Hoerr (Stacy) of Taylor, MO, Stacey Snodgrass (Charlie) of Clarksville, TN and Betsey Hobbs (Bill) of Quincy, IL; his grandchildren, Hayden Hoerr (Ashley), Sophie Hoerr (Alex), Haley Bichsel (Derek), Holden Snodgrass (Shelbie), Mason Franklin (Bridget), Devin Hobbs (Angie) and Beau Powell (Danie); and his in-laws, Carol Fessenden (Del), Linda Saylor (Charlie), Denise Clayton, Darrell Silver and Ray Silver. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorials may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, Jackson Park Golf Course, and Boots-Dickson American Legion Post No. 174, all in Palmyra, Missouri.
