He is survived by: his wife Carol Murfin of Palmyra, Missouri; his sister Camille Garrett of Lawrence, Kansas; his daughters, Tere Murfin (Brian Sneeden) of Winter Park and Laurie Murfin of Quincy, Illinois; his nephews, Paul Murfin (Tracie) of Quincy and Phillip Murfin (Michelle) of Lewistown, Missouri.; his stepchildren, Michelle Bickhaus of Quincy and Kelly Eberle of Scottsdale; his grandchildren, Samantha Allen (Ethan) of Kahoka, Missouri, Jessica Seiler (Nate) of Wentzville, Missouri, Zachary Dyer of Winter Park, Florida, Trenton Murfin (Tammy) of Quincy, Illinois and Leah Murfin (Austin Hoffman) of Quincy, Illinois; and his stepgrandson Aaron Dyer. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
