He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry George Potterfield and Dorothy L. Johnston Potterfield; his sisters, Mary Potterfield Schaller and Anita Potterfield Smith; his father-in-law Robert Higgins; his brothers-in-law, Ron Schaller and Bud Bremmer; and his siblings' children, Tony, Angela Schaller, Timmy Lugena and Stephen Lugena.
He is survived by: his siblings, Bill Potterfield (Dimple) and Carolyn Bremmer; his mother-in-law Bernadine Higgins; his siblings-in-law, Mike Higgins (Anne), Jeff Higgins and Connie Romans (Tim Lynch); his aunt Mary Lou Totsch; his pets, Willow and Donkey; Jesse White and Fred Kespohl. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
