He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Henry Thomas and Esther March Thomas; his son Larry Russell Thomas, Jr.; his brother Rudy Thomas; and his great grandchild Nora Hunkins.
He is survived by: his children, Kim Hagan (David) of Palmyra, MO and Melissa Shaffer of Palmyra, MO; his sister Debbie Boss (Fred) of New London, MO; his grandchildren, Ryan Hagan, Ashleigh Hunkins (Dan), Sean Hagan (Tegan), Dustin Tuggle (Emily) and Cole Tuggle; his great grandchildren, Carter Hagan, Blayze Loyd, Avera Hagan, Olivia Hunkins, Charlie Hunkins and Parker Hunkins; and his wife Branson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lewis Brothers Funeral Chapel (424 S Main St, Palmyra, MO 63461). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society or Donor's choice.
