With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alan Dewayne Carter of Paris, Missouri, who passed away on April 16, 2025 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Donald Harold Carter and Dorothy Lee Carter (Jesse); his wife Janice; his children, Ginny Zumsteg (Dennis), Jamie, Justin Carter and Luke Carter; and his grandchildren, Taylor, Conner Marshall, Xavier, Chloe Zumsteg, Michael, Alan Carter and Alyssa Carter.

Memorials may be made to the American Legion Post #221 in Paris or the Madison Christian Church or Sunset Hill Cemetery of Madison.
