It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darlene Sue Heitmeyer of Paris, Missouri, who passed away on February 25, 2026, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Kelsay and Clara Mae Kelsay; her husband Fred Heitmeyer; her sister Caroline; and her daughter Cindy.
She is survived by: her children, Little Rick Heitmeyer (Mary), Big Rick Heitmeyer (Kathy), Rhonda DeTienne, Christy Barton (late Eddie Barton), Penny Craighead (Dave) and Kay Biggerstaff (Joe); her grandchildren, Kelsay McCord (Ben), Kaidy Heitmeyer, Konnor Heitmeyer, Shonda DeTienne, Shelby DeTienne (Ali Elnagar), Ches Heitmeyer, Katrina Heitmeyer, Shawn Heitmeyer, Eric Heitmeyer, Dustin Creed (Leigha), Jamey Creed, Kelly Rhodes (Billy), Curtis Biggerstaff (Amy), Scott Biggerstaff (Susie), Eddie Barton (Julie) and Lance Barton; her brother Mason Kelsay (Kay); her nieces, Missy, Sheila, Tina and Michelle; and her brother Dean Kelsay. She is also survived by twenty-four great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
