She was predeceased by: her parents, Morris "Pete" Grissom and Velma Maxine Grissom (Werner); her spouse Jerry A. Holmes; and her brother Maurie Grissom. She is survived by: her children, Alan Lee Lucas of Cedar Rapids, IA and Tammi Diane Lucas-Baldwin of Palo, IA; her grandchildren, Alex, Asher, Archer, Abilene, Emma and Mirabelle; her great grandchildren, Satele, Zannah and Malak; and her brother John Grissom (Joyce) of Harpers Ferry, IA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Just As I Am Cowboy Church, or the Paris Senior Center or the American Legion Post 221.
