She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Gene Smiley and Doris Smiley; her husband Alan Carter; her stepchildren, Ginny Zumsteg (Dennis), Jamie Carter, Justin Carter and Luke Carter; and her grandchildren, Taylor, Conner Marshall, Xavier, Chloe Zumsteg, Michael, Alan Carter and Alyssa Carter.
