He was predeceased by: his mother Florence Mitchell (Wandell). He is survived by: his father Robert Henry Mitchell; his wife Doris Jane Mitchell (Jones); his children, Karrie Freeman (Katie) of Prior Lake and Chad Mitchell of Paris, Missouri; his grandson Grayson Mitchell; and his siblings, James Mitchell (Jeanne) of Paris, Joey Mitchell (Kim) of Paris and Jeanette Golson (Glen) of Warrensburg. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
