She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace Orton and Mary Alice Orton (Wood). She is survived by: her sons, William Wesley Hammond (Priscilla) of Aledo and Mark Wallace Hammond (Lynn) of Geneva, Illinois; and her grandchildren, Julia Hammond of Chicago and John Hammond of Sunnyvale, California..
