He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Brinley and Artie Brinley (Henry); his brother Clyde Brinley; and his brother-in-law Dale Merritt. He is survived by: his wife Ann Brinley (Yarbrough); his children, Tammy Hayes (Joe), Karen Lewis (Matt) and Chris Brinley (Shannon); his grandchildren, Stephanie Cronin, Rebecca Long, Elizaberh Sailor (Nick), Andrew Rieger (Jessica), Sara Redecker (Alex), Jessica Lararello, Emily Pevahouse (Davey), Hannah "Chrissy" Hayes, Dustin Lewis (Kathy), Tyler Lewis (Kristin), Tyler Brinley (Kariana) and Sawyer Brinley; his sister Velma Merritt; and his sister-in-law Martha Brinley. He is also survived by other family members and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 3:00 PM at 2005 Old Bismarck Rd, Park Hills, MO 63601.
