He was predeceased by : his parent Gentry Ira; and his siblings, Obbie Means, Darlene Tucker, Karen Wortham and Carol Jones.
He is survived by : his wife Patti Means (Hulsey); his children, Mike Means (Lori) and Emma Means (Garet Harbison); his stepdaughter Julie Harrison (Scott); his grandchildren, Chris Means (Cynthia), Jordan Means, Cody Means, Shelby Stradella, Caroline Penberthy, Katherine Harrison and Jacob Harrison; his great grandchild Delaney Penberthy; and his siblings, Sherry Helms (Charles), Yvonne Weiss and Sandy Lawson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
