He is survived by: his wife Beverly Lynn Gidden (Smith); his children, Tammy Elders (Dennis), James Gidden (Rebecca), Kevin Gidden (Melissa), Timothy Gidden (Cindy) and Andrea Whaley; his grandchildren, Jacob, Tyler, Joshua, Sheranity (Chris), Shayla (Mason), Madelyn, Braylen, Kylie, Dakota, Cole, Bailee and Cooper; his great grandchildren, Harper, Avery, Trenten, Piper, Paralee, Blakley, Ariana, Kayleeana and Knox; his sister Virgina Sue McCarron; and his siblings-in-law, Bill Mara, Patrick Smith, Mike Smith, Glen Kinkade (Sue) and Margaret Ellis (Ron). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the C. Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home (1116 N Desloge Dr, Desloge, MO 63601). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Desloge Chapel (1116 N Desloge Dr, Desloge, MO 63601). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the Adams Cemetery (467 Wortham Rd, Park Hills, MO 63601).
