She was predeceased by: her parents, Lovell Petty and Mary Marie Petty (Stam); her husband Gene Thomas; her son Gary Dean Thomas; her grandson Jason Marler; her great grandchild Josh Marler; her siblings, Judy Upchurch (Donnie) and Paul Petty (Linda); and her parents-in-law, Clarence and Virginia Thomas.
She is survived by: her children, Gene Thomas Jr. (Debbie), Becky Marler and Clyde Thomas (Tammy); her daughter-in-law Chris Thomas; her grandchildren, Jeremy Marler (Laura), Melanie Warren (Brandon), Melissa Marler, Megan Lynch (Josh), Ashlee Carver (Tony), Kaitlyn Ide (Richard), Garrett Thomas (Jennifer), Hayley Berkbuegler (Lee) and Alison Thomas; her siblings, Delores Umfleet, Rev. Gary Petty (Carol), John Petty (Shonda), Marie Bullock (Dan), Mark Petty, Danny Petty and Debby Graf (Mark); and her siblings-in-law, Jerry Thomas (Diane) and Suzy Thomas. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Harvest Christian Centre (1925 State Hwy 32, Park Hills, MO 63601). A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at the Hillview Memorial Gardens.
