She was predeceased by: her parents, Berthel Hovis and Alice D. Hovis (Dawson); her former husband Dennis Crader, Sr.; her husband Y. V. Scott; her children, Sharon Merritt and Wendell Crader; her siblings, Frank Hovis, Glenda Miller and Norma Crawford (late James "Jim" Crawford); and her pet Susie.
She is survived by: her sons, Dennis Crader Jr. of Clearwater, Kevin Crader of St. Louis and Alan Crader (Susan) of Lake Ozark, Missouri; her grandchildren, Shawn, Robbie (Andrea), Lisa, Jenny and Wendy; her brother Ronald Hovis (Rita) of Hillsboro, Missouri; her sister-in-law Lillian Hovis of Grand Junction, Colorado; and her cousin Gloria Hovis (Sheila Horton) of Farmington, Missouri. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
