Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Bernard Francis Runde of Parnell, Missouri, who passed away at the age of 91, on June 1, 2025. He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Runde and Matilda E. Runde (Ginther); his wife Mary E. Protzman; and his siblings, Leo Runde, Richard Runde, Walter Runde, Jack Runde, Eugene Runde, Sally Davison, Teresa Kemper Price and Rita Andriano.
He is survived by: his children, Daniel Runde (Traci), Michael Runde (Louise), Patrick Runde, James Runde, Keith Runde (Missy) and Catherine Runde; and his sisters, Rose Starke, Mary Crocker and Monica Clayton. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren.
A rosary will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (411 S Main St, Parnell, MO 64475). Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In memory of Bernie, the family suggests memorials to be made in care of Price Funeral Home to be used for future agricultural scholarships.
