He was predeceased by: his parents, James Collins and Nellie Collins (Owensby); and his sister Deborah Sue Lawson. He is survived by: his wife Linda Collins (Kirby); his children, James D. Collins, Jr. (Amanda) of Patterson, MO, Pamela R. Harden (Adam) of Piedmont, MO., Donita Baldwin (Phillip) of Dupo, IL. and Michael Wallace of Dupo, IL.; his siblings, William Collins of Patterson, MO. and Patricia Ezell (Chuck) of Patterson, MO.; and his grandchildren, James W Collins, Faith Collins, Ava Collins, Hunter Collins, Joe Gourley, Kayla Mitchell, Stacy Gilmore, Hope Wing, Haley Matthews, Phillip Baldwin and Jessica Baldwin. He is also survived by twelve Great Grandchildren, four Great-Great Grandchildren, along with many other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Patterson Baptist Church (312 Patterson St, Farmington, MO 63640). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
