She was predeceased by: her parents, Rogers Vaughn and Lessie Vaughn (Brashears); her sons, Lanny James Hays, Roger "Jack" Wayne Hays and James Alan Hays; and her siblings, Nadine Thornhill, Martha Ford, Ethel Clay, Rogers "Buck" Vaughn and Mildred Louise.
She is survived by: her daughter Sherri Hays-Johnson (Wendell). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren and 18 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pendergrass Funeral Home (203 Bass St, Marble Hill, MO 63764). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
