He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Busbey and Bessie Louise Reid Busbey; and his brother Calvin Eugene Busbey (Barbara Busbey). He is survived by: his children, Bobbi Peoples (Dalton) and Kelsey Nelson (Leon); his stepson Bryan Tharp; his grandson Hunter Nelson; and his sisters, Barbara Smotherman (Chuck) and Brenda Moncrief. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
