He was predeceased by: his parents, George William Rives Sr. and Roberta Vanessa Fisher Rives; and his nieces, Leslie Beard and Jennifer Ingram Mastin. He is survived by: his wife Linda Rives of Peculiar, Missouri; his children, Kathy Todtenhausen (Jerry) of Kansas City, Missouri and Jeff Rives (Ashley) of Pleasant Hill, Missouri; his grandchildren, Gabriel, Annabelle Todtenhausen, Chloe and Reece Rives; and his brother Wayne "Luke" Rives (Sally) of Butler, Missouri. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Schowengerdt Funeral Chapel (1301 N Orange St, Butler, MO 64730). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
