He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Danny Jo and Georgia Ann Blackwell (Adams); his brother Kenneth Jo Blackwell; his wife Juanita Blackwell; his children, Breanna, John-Michael Lamb of Peculiar, Missouri, Brandon, Samantha Blackwell of Harrisonville, Missouri and Tommy Ward of Belton, Missouri; his grandchildren, Hailey, Danny, Elsie and Emmalynn; and his sister Sandy (Mark Greenstreet) of Oak Grove, Missouri. He was also cherished by other relatives and many friends.

Family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Cornerstone Community Church Memorial Fund.
