She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Jess Lee and Mamie Lue Young Whitaker; her husband Harold O'Neal Rouse; her son Ronnie Rouse (Vickie) of Perry; her sister Eva June Dowell of Hazzard; her grandchildren, Michele Keil (Shawn) of Perry, Lori Vandercrake (Ryan) of Perry, Jennifer Rouse of Perry, Jackson, Lincoln Keil, Gavin and Ellie Vandercrake; and her brothers, Freddie and Charles Whitaker.
