He was predeceased by: his parents, Marguerite Trainor and Joseph Trainor; his son Joe; his brother Richard Trainor; and his pet Spot.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Trainor of Holton, KS; his children, Mary Austin (Scott) of Lees Summit, MO, Jennifer Stallbaumer of Paola, KS, Deborah Trainor of Clinton, WA, Karen Trainor (Chris O'Neil) of Columbia, MO and Michael Trainor (Kim) of Vandalia; and his siblings-in-law, Lou Trainor of St. Louis and Dan Pollock of Holton, KS. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
