He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Ernst Elliott and Goldie Hobbs Elliott; his wife Mary Ann Presson; his children, Ronnie Elliott of Monroe City, MO, Jerry Elliott (Rhonda) of Perry, MO and Cindy Buffington Woodhurst of Perry, MO; his siblings, Richard Elliott of Quincy, IL, Susan McLaughlin (Don) of Murphysboro, IL, Sharon Terry (Bruce) of Bloomsdale, MO, Debbie Sheperd (Gregory) of Fulton, MO, Russell Elliott (Patti) of Mexico, MO, Becky Goodwin of Center, MO, Sherrie Brown (Lance) of Monroe City, MO, Sandy Peak (Todd) of Benton City, MO and Joni Sharp (Kenny) of Perry, MO; his sisters-in-law, Shirley Elliott of Bowling Green, MO and Nancy Jones of Columbia, MO; his grandchildren, Trenton Elliott (Brooke Carr), Trey Elliott (Keilynn), Dustin Elliott (BreeAnna), Jamie Woodhurst (Lacey), Dalton Woodhurst (Brittany Virden), Shelton Woodhurst (Hillary), Erin Smith of McDonald, OH and Jodi Elliott; and his great grandchildren, Adley, Rylen, Paisley, Casen, Haven, River, Wesley, Winston, Hayden, Haley and Blake. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
