She was predeceased by: her parents, William Lee and Dora Elizabeth Lincoln Masters; her former spouse Billie J. Cook; and her husband Arthur "Red" James. She is survived by: her son Robert; her daughter-in-law Anne Cook of Collinsville, Illinois; her daughter Diana Cook Bolanos of St. Louis; and her stepdaughters, Joanell Sheaver of St. Louis and Carol Hudson of Sedgewickville. She is also survived by four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; seven stepgrandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ford and Liley Funeral Home (410 Union St, Marble Hill, MO 63764). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to be made to Mount Carmel Baptist Church or Pulliam Cemetery.
