She was predeceased by: her parents, Raphael Emmenderfer and Elta Emmenderfer (Sutterer); her daughter Jeanne Abernathy; and her siblings, Eileen Lueders, Carol Brandel, Ray Emmenderfer, Gary Emmenderfer and Lee Emmenderfer.
She is survived by: her husband Albert DeWilde; her sons, Jack Abernathy (Barbara) and Jimmy Abernathy (MaDonna); her grandchildren, Dena Preston (Randy) and Scott Abernathy (Jill); her great grandchildren, Danielle Bishop (Dustin), Grant Abernathy and Jenna Abernathy; and her great great grandchild Melody Bishop.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 9:50 AM at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church (1000 Rosati Ct, Perryville, MO 63775). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Vincent de Paul Schools or Journey Hospice.
