He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Ponder and Edna Ponder (Ruessler); his daughter Cindy Ponder; his sister Velda Vogt; and his nephew Shawn Blechle.
He is survived by: his wife Louella Ponder; his children, Christy Moser and Genny Larkin (Chad); his stepchildren, Tracy Hahn (Walter Kendall) and Daniel Hahn; his siblings, Clara Blechle (Jim), Evelyn Pingel (Gary), Pamela Hoff (Dave), Mike Ponder, Wayne Ponder and Gerald "Fish" Ponder; and his child Oreo. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and two step-great-grandchildren.
