We announce the death of Thomas P. Unterreiner of Perryville, Missouri, who passed away on September 7, 2026, at the age of 81. Thomas will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester "Sonny" Unterreiner and Laura "Polly" Unterreiner (Guyot); and his siblings, Joseph Unterreiner, Dorthy Fluegel and Ruth Wood.
He is survived by: his wife Julie Unterreiner; his stepchildren, Brian Brickhaus (Amy) of Perryville, MO, Angela Herman (Ron) of Perryville, MO, Wendy Merritt of Fayetteville, NC and Kelly Martin of Fenton, MO; his brother David Unterreiner (Evelyn) of Perryville, MO; his grandchildren, Tylee LeGrand (Tyler), Ashley, Sarah, Matthew, Jacob, Gabrielle Gremaud, Carter Herman, Nicole Merritt, Alex (Makayla), Luke, Garrett, Adam Brickhaus, Olivia and Henry Martin; and his great grandchildren, Gabriel Werle and Elijah Gremaud.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Ford & Young Funeral Home (110 S West St, Perryville, MO 63775). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church (1000 Rosati Ct, Perryville, MO 63775).
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Schools.
