Though George Stanley may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those George Stanley touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. He was predeceased by: his parents, George L. Hewitt and Hazel Hewitt (Hall); and his brother Harold Hewitt. He is survived by: his son Jace Hewitt of Lee's Summit; and his siblings, June Builderback of Tightwad and Brian Hewitt of Springfield. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and several step-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Consalus Funeral Home to offset the funeral cost.
